Dear Parents and Guardians of the 6^th Grade Class,

The Winter Olympics is an exciting night for our 6^th graders.  They will challenge each other in events that include the luge, cross country skiing, winter dress relay, speed skating, and a snowball toss.

Our night will not be a success without the many volunteers that are needed to make this a fun and safe evening for all!  All volunteers must have their clearances.  Volunteering consist of being team/country leaders (traveling with an assigned group of kids to each event), 2 event staff manager for each event, registration table assistants, as well as set up and clean-up volunteers.  We are also in need of donations and water break, which is also included on the sign up genius link.

Click here to view and/or print the permission slip.  Click here to view the letter to the 6^th grade class for the Winter Olympics being held on Friday, February 3^rd, 2017 from 6:30-9:00 pm.  Every child that participates must have a permission slip filled out and returned to school by January 31^st. 2017 or completed online.  Also please note that every child must bring a helmet with them on the night of our Winter Olympics to participate in the “Free Style Sledding and Luge events.” 

This promises to be a great night for our 6^th graders, our parent volunteers, and for our teachers!  Don’t miss out on the FUN!
